Okay, I am sitting here so tense right now because I am about to spill the beans on a huge secret I have been holding back on for awhile! Ahhhh, here goes. "Woman Captured by Boucher "is changing it's name to, "The Boudoir Divas." There, I said it. Whew. I am terrible at keeping in surprises, so you can imagine how hard this was for me. I know, it is just a name change. But for me it is like having a baby and deciding 4 years later that you are going to change her name from Sara to Jessica. Yowsers.
I know we have mentioned it a few times, but a while back Kimberlee West (at the time a boudoir photographer for Woman Captured) and I wrote a book about boudoir photography for other photographers. We didn't realize how much demand there was for this sort of education and have been traveling the country (and soon Paris and Australia!!!) to teach other boudoir photogs about adding this to their services. It has been a little challenging marketing the two individually. Initially when I start Woman Captured I intended to make the portraits very artsy, more of a black and white fine art appeal. And although we definitely do get a bit of that, I would have to say that our overall feel and marketing has definitely gone in a much girlier, kitchy, "DIVA-ish" direction.
Here is an example of our recent publication for photographers.

So begins the change-over proces. A gradual transition that we hope won't confuse our faithful and wonderful clients too much. We would appreciate any feedback you may want to offer us as we go down this uncharted territory. Heart ya'll- Marissa Boucher
